AIRBUS have swooped for the signature of experience Welsh Premier frontman Alex Darlington.

The 30-year-old who suffered two broken legs within 12 months while a first-year professional at Wrexham and, despite battling his way back to fitness, was released at the end of season 2007/8.

He signed contract terms for The New Saints in June 2008 and was capped by the Wales Under-23 semi-professional side on several occasions. During a 10 year spell with the Saints, he made 151 full WPL appearances and 91 from the bench, scoring 96 goals. He also made 19 European appearances, scoring three times.

Darlington moved to Bangor City in January 2018 and had scored 14 goals last season before joining Maltese outfit Mosta FC in January.
