The opening exchanges were fairly even, defender Ben Evans producing a moment of magic to prevent an early goal for the home side.  Airbus gradually gained the upper hand and were rewarded in the 25th minute when, following great work in midfield, Connor Boyle delivered a perfect pass for Lee Jones to latch onto and hammer home.  Lee was unlucky minutes later, when set up by strike partner Tom Littler, this time firing narrowly over.  Rhos hit back and shot just wide.  Airbus almost scored a second just before half time when a Mark Atkinson cross shot rebounded off the bar.                                    HT  0  -  1
Rhos started the second half brightly and keeper Dan Cooper was called into action firstly to repel a shot and then to turn the resulting corner over the bar under severe pressure from a Rhos forward.  The Wingmen remained under pressure but should have doubled their lead on 65 minutes following a quick break, Tom Littler chipping tamely into the keeper’s hands.  Rhos continued to press but great defensive displays from Jamie Meacock and Leigh Owens, together with a tireless midfield display from Joe Jones, helped Airbus to a hard fought victory.        FT  0  -  1
