The Wingmen travelled to a wet and windy Ruthin looking to maintain top spot.  They opened well Mark Atkinson combining with Tom Littler who’s shot was pushed out for a corner, which new recruit Jordan Ellis headed just wide.  Ruthin manufactured a few chances of their own and only smart saves from Josh Atkin prevented a goal.  The game had settled into a midfield battle but despite the best efforts of Connor Boyle and Leigh Owens Airbus created little and the game was goalless at half time.

A half time pep talk obviously did the trick and on 48 minutes the hard working Mark Atkinson delivered a great cross to the back post only to see Jamie Meacock head against the post.  Tom Littler was however on hand to pick up the rebound and smash home from close in.  Ruthin forced Josh Atkin into another great save shortly afterwards but Airbus had their tails up and on 67 minutes Mark Atkinson again crossed for debutant Jordan Ellis to fire home.  Full back Wes Bennett instigated several raids forward but Airbus could not add to their tally.
