The game found Airbus unusually out of sorts and a difficult pitch didn’t help their passing game.  Borras tested keeper Dan Cooper on the first minute, Dan pushing a corner over the bar.  The game drifted into a midfield muddle, both teams effectively cancelling each other out.  Any football came from Airbus and a good move on 25 minutes saw Lee Jones drive straight at the home keeper.

The second half followed the same pattern, Airbus struggling to find their usual rhythm.  Things got worse for them on 57 minutes when Borras pressure brought them a goal.  Airbus tried to respond but nothing seemed to be working for them and a stubborn Borras made things difficult.  Jordan O’Brien did force the home keeper into a fine save on 83 minutes and from the resulting corner Tom Littler drove through a crowded penalty area to snatch an equaliser.  Almost straight from the restart Airbus broke but a tame effort by Lee Jones came to nothing.  The game ended in a draw, which on the day was probably about right, though Airbus should forget this one.
