Cefn Druids 1-1 Airbus UK Broughton
Cefn came out strongly and had their visitors under the cosh for a good ten minutes. Resolute defending kept the home side at bay. Airbus managed a rare attack on 20 minutes and were extremely unlucky when a Dan Lloyd drive from 25 yards hit the inside of the post. Airbus were forced into a substitution on 30 minutes when defensive kingpin and Captain Lewis Burgess injured his back. Replacement Grant Wain was quickly in action as Cefn continued to press. The inevitable goal arrived on 40 minutes when the home centre half headed home powerfully from a corner. Airbus did manage one further attack when good work by Lloyd and Littler created a chance for Josh Parry who steered an angled shot just wide.

Airbus improved in the second half and enjoyed much more of the play. After 50 minutes an angled free kick was flashed goal wards by Tom Littler but straight to the keeper. The pressure told after 70 minutes when Liam Jones broke out and drove into the defence cutting inside the full back before curling the ball past the home keeper for a brilliant equaliser. Airbus finished the game strongly, the visitors being forced to defend almost constantly. Chris Simmons forced the keeper to save on 75 minutes and he also thwarted Tom Littler on 87 minutes. This had been a game of two halves and the draw was about right.
