The Hollingsworth Group Stadium

AIRBUS UK plays its home games at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium in the shadow of the huge Airbus plant in Broughton, Flintshire.

Such aviation classics as De Havilland’s Comet and Mosquito were produced during its history and it is now responsible for assembling the wings for all Airbus civil aircraft, including the world's largest airliner, the double deck, wide-bodied A380.

Producing over 1,000 wings a year, the site employs more than 6,000 people – primarily in manufacturing, but also in engineering and support functions such as procurement and finance.

Two car parks are available for football supporters either side of the entrance to the factory on Chester Road. Because the stadium is adjacent to an active runway, several of the floodlight pylons are retractable so that they can be lowered after matches to avoid interference with flight operations.

In May 2014, Airbus announced it would become the third club in the Welsh Premier League to convert the playing surface to synthetic 3G.
